Yamaha go into 2018 with a stronger Sport Touring line up than ever, offering a total of six models that represent a truly diverse choice - and designed to appeal to a wide range of riders who are looking to enjoy the many new experiences, places and people that they'll discover by travelling on the Roads of Life.

Since the introduction of the Tracer 900 for the 2015 model year, Europe's Sport Touring segment has enjoyed significant growth. Attracted by the outstanding performance and all-round versatility of models like the Tracer 900, many riders have migrated from other categories to the Sport Touring segment.

The more recent introduction of the affordable Tracer 700 has given the class another major boost by attracting a whole new generation of younger riders, and today the Sport Touring segment has become one of the most dynamic and important parts of the marketplace for Yamaha.

The FJR1300A/AE/AS models continue to satisfy the demands of those experienced Sport Touring riders who appreciate their solid reputation combined with unrivalled Yamaha reliability.

Launched three years ago, the Tracer 900 has quickly become established as the definitive Sport Tourer in the fast growing sub-1000cc class. With its thrilling sports performance, agile handling and the ability to handle long distances with ease, the stylish Tracer 900 has become one of Yamaha's best-selling models with over 35,000 units sold.

If there's one key element that accounts for its widespread success, it's the fact that this beautifully styled motorcycle is one of those rare models that has the ability to excel in almost any role, from long distance touring through to sport riding and day-to-day commuting. Joining Yamaha's Sport Touring range for 2018 is the Tracer 900GT, a new model that comes with a premium specification as standard. Developed from the Tracer 900 and sharing the same 2018 specification upgrades, the Tracer 900GT is designed to offer sport touring riders the ultimate package at a competitive price.
