A CLOSER LOOK AT THE SUPER-4

Mutt SUPER-4 details

There’s a rediscovered love for retro colour and chrome in the custom scene making it the bike of a seasoned rider who knows what’s up, so we took inspiration from the golden era of style and cranked it up to 11. With modern Mutt detailing, this motorcycle is dripping in 70’s cool and reminiscent of a time when bikes were bikes, men were men, and women were glad of it.

The Super 4 is built around a bulletproof 4-stroke, fuel injected engine that gives plenty of punch for this lightweight little thumper. This motorcycle features bags of custom detailing from the extra wide brushed aluminium mudguards to handle those super fat 4.00×18 nobbly tyres, to the brushed aluminium bullet indicators with their dark smoked lenses.

Benny and the workshop crew went all out when developing the Super-4 taking styling cues from iconic 70's imagery, while adding their own special custom hot sauce that you only get with a Mutt Motorcycle. Some of the details on this bike may not be instantly noticeable, but look a little closer and you’ll peep all those super clean little custom touches.

Attention to detail is something we’re all dedicated too here at Mutt HQ. The brushed stainless steel exhaust system echoes other satin finished parts across the Super 4 and gives this motorcycle that unmistakable Mutt growl. Meanwhile, little things like the diamond pattern grips matching the diamond pattern, low profile seat all work to deliver that clean-cut, super cool custom finish that demands respect.

The thing is, this is just what we do. Constantly looking at how even the smallest components can be improved, bringing more durable, cleaner looking features to the table and never letting anything roll out our workshop doors until the whole crew are completely satisfied – and with Benny that can be a pretty tall order.

But we do know how important it is to get a good look over a motorcycle. Up close, so you can explore some of these finer details – like the chrome rim and spoked 18” wheels, or that glorious fuel tank that makes the Super-4 pop.

So we brought the guys from River Rea Films up to Digbeth to help us produce a series of short Mutt videos so you can take a closer look around our bikes in crisp, high definition 4K.

From Birmingham to the Big Smoke

Mutt London is officially open.

It’s safe to say the streets of London are no easy place to cement roots. In a class-leading city with boundaries constantly being pushed, taking things to the next level in the big smoke is no mean undertaking. Safe to say, here at Mutt Motorcycles we like to think we ticked the required boxes with our epic East London store opening.

Our little shed built brand now has a home in the capital city as Bethnal Green welcomed a bit of Brummie Mutt madness with open arms. With our new London from home, comes the opportunity to experience the Mutt story without leaving the Big Smoke. From a slick yet still a little rough showroom, through to servicing and repairs, our new location is on hand to cater for your every Mutt need.

We’ll get you kitted out in our latest threads, sort you out with one of our latest and greatest machines and get you on the road before you can say 'Ozzy Osbourne'.

With a typically Mutt, slightly left field but in the thick of it location as our LDN base, we simply had to throw one of our infamous get togethers at the new store. With Jägermeister, Dalston's and London Fields brewery supplying the drinks, and the mega Hoxton Radio behind the decks spinning the tracks, we had one hell of an evening. With press, media influencers and a few famous face in attendance, this was an opportunity for friends, customers and like minded folk to get up close and personal with our bikes, merch and new store!

We love our new London home, drop in for a browse, a ride, or just a coffee & a natter at your nearest opportunity.

Stay locked in for new releases and news dropping soon.

You can now find Mutt motorcycles, apparel and a range of road-ready gear in the nation's capital. Drop by & check out the latest Mutt model in store:

The Return of the Desert Racer

The Desert Racer was the original Mutt, the very first Mutt that Benny built, influenced by racing machines of the great British marques such as BSA and Triumph, made famous by Steve McQueen and other race fanatics in the '60’s.

As a special edition, we are producing an extremely limited run of the Mutt Desert Racer Classic. Each bike will be built to order and numbered with a limit of 13 bikes being constructed for the Japanese market, and 13 available across Europe.

The bikes have a racing pedigree steeped in history, and Benny wanted to create the feeling and look of these bikes he grew up with. Re-creating the vibe and experience of a classic twin-shocked & stripped down British racing machine.

So the very first Mutt was built with this in mind, each bike individually hand built by Benny himself. Each exhaust was handmade, each wheel hand laced and he personally fabricated every part to create the first Desert Racer, echoing as much as possible those original British bikes modified for dune racing that were his inspiration.

Chrome spoke wheels, black diamond-stitch seats, classic burnt orange or sky blue with off white gloss tank and chrome detailing, along with deep tread tyres were the key to giving the original Mutts that quintessential late 60’s British racing vibe.

Only a small number of these original bespoke machines were built in the early days of Mutt and since they have become a collectible bike here in the UK.
