So, you've just completed your CBT but dont want to buy a learner motorcycle / or your Module 1 or Module 2 test is coming up and you want a little practice...........take advantage of our learner legal hire bikes.  We currently have available a Suzuki GSX-S125 as used in our rider training school and an older Suzuki Van Van.

The learner legal motorcycles are only available to hire from 9am - 5pm each day (subject to availability).

Please note that no overnight hires are available for this motorcycle.

Discounts are available for Saltire Rider Training student who have completed a CBT with us within the last 3 months or have booked in to do DAS training.

It’s not just learner legal motorcycles with L plates that are available for hire either.  We offer hire packages on Soft Luggage, Helmets and Protective Clothing (Textile Jackets, Textile Trousers and Gloves).

To rent a learner legal motorcycle from us you should have:
- a valid Driving Licence (non-uk licences are accepted as long as they show your motorcycle entitlement
- National Insurance number
- hold a current passport
- provide 2 other forms of ID and address (within the past 3 months)
- valid CBT certificate

All Motorcycles hired from Saltire Motorcycles come with Fully Comprehensive Insurance, UK Roadside assistance, a full tank of Fuel; and unlimited Mileage as standard.

A damage waiver fee of £500.00 is payable on collection of the motorcycle and will be refunded upon safe return of all hire items.

Motorcycles are to be returned with a full tank of fuel (£30 standard charge for Motorcycles returned without a full tank).

In case of an Insurance claim the insurance excess payable is up to £2,500.  We do not take payment for the Insurance Excess up front, we merely make you aware of the insurance terms.  It is possible to reduce the insurance excess with a one off payment.
