NEW MUTT HARDWARE FOR 2021

NEW MUTT HARDWARE FOR 2021

We've been busy in the workshop, updating all of our models with new Mutt hardware and a few tweaks.

As we head into 2021, the big question is, ‘what did you do during lockdown?’ Well, we ain’t been doing online workouts, baking banana bread or enduring Zoom quizzes. That sh*t just didn’t appeal to us. No, we got busy in the workshop, fitting out all of our bike models with some new shizzle.

First up is that brand new funky little Mutt mini digital speedo. Super-sleek and super robust this new unit packs in a host of updates on our original analogue mini speedo. Firstly, the digital display allows you to clock your speed in MPH or KMH – your choice. This new ticker also gives you the option to switch between your regular odometer or trip distance. The led backlit display also comes with gear position and fuel level reading, topped off with an analogue RPM gauge to keep an eye on your revs, all packed into a neat little matt black case.

And the even better news? This new hardware comes as standard on new bikes in 2021 across the entire Mutt range. Who says we don’t spoil you.

Of course, we are constantly working on improving the Mutt experience, so we’ve also made a few technical updates. We’ve overhauled our exhaust system further, using higher grade stainless steel and dual skin construction. Plus, we’ve reduced emissions in line with new EU5requirements. We’ve strengthened our existing tanks and added a new protective interior finish. Most importantly, we made some tweaks to our chassis with more stainless-steel fasteners, a deep layer of black powder coat on the frame and swingarm and softer rear shocks to take on those roads with ease.

Hidden behind the side panels, you will also find a new higher output battery, a remapped ECU and a bunch of other tweaks. These may not be the sort of improvements that you will see with a casual glance, but we know that the detail is where it counts. And of course, all of our models still come with all of the beautifully engineered custom touches you only get on a Mutt Motorcycle.

Finally, we’ve also added some more heavy metal to our range. Our Akita, FSR and Razorback models now have some bigger brothers, with the Akita and FSR available in 250cc and the long-awaited Razorback 250cc dropping in June.

Get your orders in sharpish, ‘cause all of this black metal goodness is flying out quick.
