SYM Jet 14 LC is a popular scooter model from the Jet series that has been widely appreciated in the European market for its reliability, practicality, and stylish design. With its 14-inch wheels, it is perfect for urban riding and easy to navigate through the city streets. Jet 14 LC includes a Euro 5 compliant 4 valves liquid-cooled engine, which provides better airflow and increased efficiency. The new LED headlight and LED position light give the scooter a modern and trendy look, as well as improved safety for night riding. The Quick Charge 2.0 technology ensures that the rider’s electronic gadgets stay charged at all times. The SYM Jet 14 LC has a length of 1990 mm, a width of 730 mm, and a height of 1075/1115 mm (with visor). It has a wheelbase of 1350 mm and is equipped with telescopic front suspension and dual rear shock absorbers. The front and rear rims are made of aluminium, while the front tire dimensions are 100/90-14 and the rear tire dimensions are 110/80-14. The scooter is equipped with a front disk brake of 260 mm diameter and a rear disc brake of 220 mm diameter for effective braking performance. It has a fuel capacity of 7.5 litres and a fuel system of EFI. The 124.6 cc engine produces a maximum horsepower of 9.3 kW at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 11 Nm at 6000 rpm. The scooter is cooled by a liquid-cooling system and has a continuously variable transmission (C.V.T.) for smooth and easy shifting. Other features of the SYM Jet 14 LC include a spacious under-seat storage compartment, a digital instrument cluster, an electrical starter, and LED lighting for the headlight, taillight, and front position lamp. Public Announcement

Saltire Motorcycles Ltd ceased to trade on 31 August 2024.  Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught of Johnston Carmichael, 227 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2ND were subsequently appointed as Joint Administrators of the company on 5 September, by Notice of Appointment by the directors lodged at Court.

The company has ceased trading and is no longer providing ongoing services or training to customers.  Any customers who are owed sums by the company and who paid by credit or debit card should contact their card provider in the first instance to establish whether their card provider is in a position to provide a refund.  Any customers who have prepaid for any goods or services by any other means, or are unable to recover sums from a card provider, should provide details of the sum outstanding by email to saltirecreditors@jcca.co.uk in order that their details may be added to the list of creditors.

Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Saltire Motorcycles Limited to manage its affairs, business and property as its agents, without personal liability. Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.  The Joint Administrators may be considered Data Controllers of personal data as defined by GDPR. Personal data may be processed to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Johnston Carmichael LLP will act as Data Processor on the Joint Administrators’ instructions. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the administration. Saltire Motorcycles Ltd remains the data controller for personal data processed for purposes that are not related to legal and regulatory obligations.
