The Jet X, a flagship model in the SYM scooter line up, boasts impressive features that cater to the needs of riders seeking convenience, safety, and luxury riding experience. With a racing bike characteristic design that sets it apart, the Jet X also has high-end specs that offer outstanding handling, perfect manoeuvrability, and ergonomics. Equipped with full LED lighting, including a headlight, position light, taillight, and turn indicators, the Jet X ensures maximum riding safety. The scooter’s manoeuvrability and ergonomics are top-notch, providing a relaxing riding position and outstanding handling. The Jet X also comes with Keyless System 2.0, which replaces traditional keys with a special key fob for easy and intuitive ignition access. The LCD instrument is specially designed to display all necessary information clearly and stylishly, with auto-dimming for optimum visibility in all environments. Additionally, the Jet X is fitted with a Hazard Control Light for emergency warning signals. Its 4-valve liquid-cooled engine ensures optimal operating temperatures and improved engine efficiency and performance. The roller rocker arm helps reduce wear and tear, decrease heat generation, and minimize unnecessary power consumption caused by friction. The adjustable rear suspension provides premium support and stability, while the front compartment offers ample storage space for items such as key cards and big screen smartphones. The Jet X also features a Quick Charge 2.0 for keeping electronic gadgets powered up, as well as a Traction Control System (TCS) for preventing rear wheel slippage while starting, accelerating, or making turns. In terms of dimensions, the Jet X measures 2000 x 760 x 1115 mm (length x width x height) and has a wheelbase of 1350 mm. The front suspension is a telescope fork, while the rear suspension is dual shock. The scooter runs on aluminium rims with 100/90-14 front tire dimensions and 110/80-14 rear tire dimensions. The front and rear brakes are disk type with diameters of 260mm and 220mm, respectively, and feature CBS/ABS technology. The fuel tank capacity is 7.5 L, and the seat height is 770 mm. The Euro 5 emissions standard-compliant scooter is powered by a 4-stroke engine with a single cylinder and a displacement of 124.6 c.c. It has an EFI fuel system and delivers a maximum horsepower of 9.3 kW at 8000 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The cooling system is liquid-based, and the transmission is CVT. Public Announcement

Saltire Motorcycles Ltd ceased to trade on 31 August 2024.  Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught of Johnston Carmichael, 227 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 2ND were subsequently appointed as Joint Administrators of the company on 5 September, by Notice of Appointment by the directors lodged at Court.

The company has ceased trading and is no longer providing ongoing services or training to customers.  Any customers who are owed sums by the company and who paid by credit or debit card should contact their card provider in the first instance to establish whether their card provider is in a position to provide a refund.  Any customers who have prepaid for any goods or services by any other means, or are unable to recover sums from a card provider, should provide details of the sum outstanding by email to saltirecreditors@jcca.co.uk in order that their details may be added to the list of creditors.

Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught have been appointed as Joint Administrators of Saltire Motorcycles Limited to manage its affairs, business and property as its agents, without personal liability. Graeme Bain and Donald McNaught are licensed in the United Kingdom to act as insolvency practitioners by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.  The Joint Administrators may be considered Data Controllers of personal data as defined by GDPR. Personal data may be processed to meet legal and regulatory obligations. Johnston Carmichael LLP will act as Data Processor on the Joint Administrators’ instructions. Personal data will be kept secure and processed only for matters relating to the administration. Saltire Motorcycles Ltd remains the data controller for personal data processed for purposes that are not related to legal and regulatory obligations.
